Data Deletion

You can request deletion of all data associated with your Instagram or TikTok account at any time. This includes comments, reply drafts, moderation history, access tokens, and account profile data.

Option 1 — Revoke Access in Platform Settings

The fastest way to stop data collection and trigger automatic deletion:

TikTok Settings & Privacy → Security → Manage app permissions → find "Post Moderator" → Revoke access. When you revoke access, TikTok automatically notifies Post Moderator and your data is queued for deletion within 30 days.

Instagram Settings → Security → Apps and Websites → find "Post Moderator" → Remove. This stops future API access. To delete stored data, also send the deletion email below.

Option 2 — Submit a Deletion Request by Email

Send an email to info@postmoderator.com with the subject line "Post Moderator Data Deletion" and include:

the Instagram username or TikTok account name connected to the Service;
the email address or username used to access Post Moderator (if known);
a brief request to delete your data.

What We Delete

After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymize:

OAuth access tokens for the connected account;
all comment records retrieved through the connected account;
reply drafts and published reply logs;
moderation history and audit log entries associated with the account.

We may retain data longer if required for security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons, as permitted by applicable law.

Timeline

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. We will confirm completion by email.
